DCMH preview has hit air waves!
I'm sure this is old news to some, but to a girl who was offline all day....this was breaking news!
There's an (estimated) 10 second clip of this Friday's new Danny Phantom episode, Double Cross My Heart, now airing on Nick, as part of the commercial for Friday Night Nicktoons.

What's in a Name?
Thx to everyone who sent us the tip off, link, and news of this pretty intriguing development...
The upcoming movie, School Spirit, has under gone a ....*drumroll* name change.
The one hour special is now going to be called Reality Trip.
This IS all official, as it comes from Butch Hartman himself- who gave zCat over at the DPOF the okay to make it public. You can check out the forum post with the news HERE.
I, for one, am pretty jazzed with this development because it gives new life to my newest theory. Let's the speculation re-start anew!
p.s. We will now be referring to the episode by its new official name, Reality Trip, in all future areas of the site, just so you know.

Pre- Preview of an Upcomming DP episode
Recently, Butch Hartman was seen in an interview for Euro Nick (for Denmark and/or Belgium apparently) and he was showing storyboards for an upcomming Danny Phantom episode.
One report says the story board is for a future episode, but another specifies that it for the series finale.
*EDIT* Word on the street is that its only been refered to as an "upcoming episode", and there is no official proof that it is for the finale. If anyone knows how many episodes have aired in Belgium thus far, we could try estimating which "upcoming episode" it may be. It may be too late for Season 2, so it may just be something for Season 3...
Either way, it carries a very intriguing bit of information, only made even more tantalizing by the fact that Mr. Hartman decided to stragically hold the board so we can't see exactly who else (besides Sam) is involved in this now infamous scene.

Rumor Patrol: Operation School Spirit 1.0
elle: Usually, these things go straight to the Rumors Page, for I don't like giving those forum trolls the pleasure of seeing their ridiculous claims being addressed as front page news. However, because it has reached a fever pitch and because our inbox has been home to dozens of your emails reagrding School Spirit information since the KCAs, I felt that I had to say all this out loud for all to see...
I'm not sure how many of you here frequent other DP forums, fan sites, and message boards, but I do and I sort of wanted to call attention to some things that have begun circling around the Phantom Universe regarding School Spirit. For the past week or so, we've been getting numerous e-mails with so many different claims and he-said-she-saids that I felt that we ought to address it front and center.
First off, there is NO CONFIRMED DATE on when School Spirit is set to air. Our only clue is that Nick includes DP in its commercial for "Big Summer Movies," so we can safely ASSUME that it will air during the summer months of June-August, maybe even Sept. Anyone who claims to know the EXACT DATE is quite honsetly not being truthful (and that's putting it VERY nicely). That being said the following dates are ALL considered to be RUMORS:
If it so happens that AN OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE is issued (and official meaning from places like the Nick.com schedule or CableTV Talk, who gets their info from Nick press releases anyway) for the air date and it is one of the above dates, we will let you know. BUT IN THE MEAN TIME, they are nothing more than RUMORS from people who have nothing better to do with themselves.
And on that note...an air date School Spirit would most likely be accompanied by the air dates of the other movies airing in the summer or same month, so having only the air date for School Spirit and not for anyother show is fishy enough.
Second, there has been NO OFFICIAL SUMMARY or any OFFICIAL release of what the episode is about. Anyone who starts a topic with "Summary for SS!" or "Butch Hartman says this is what SS is about," is again, not telling the truth. Anything under those posts is NOT going to be OFFICIAL, merely someone who wants to see how many people he/she can make believe them so they can feel better about themselves. As soon as an OFFCIAL release is made, we will let you know.
Lastly, if said forum trolls can't even produce any link, article, or other source of PROOF, then why would you believe them? Clamining that they just "forgot where I read it, but it's true!" or "the link is so long, I don't want to post it" or even "my friends uncles brothers cousin who works at nick and is bf with butch told me about it"....PROVES NOTHING. Anything regarding the air date, summary, or promotions will be made PUBLICALLY and OFFICIALLY and from a TRUSTWORTHY SOURCE. If they can't send you the link, or somehow help you find it (not to mention they seem to be the only one who knows about it or only one to see it) then I would STRONGLY CAUTION you to NOT believe them.
I'm not saying that you all should stop speculation on the episode. Not at all. In fact, the specualtion is what eases the wait between episodes. Discuss theories and ideas to no tomorrow.......
But there is a BIG DIFFERENCE in saying "I think it will air sometime in Aug," and in saying "I KNOW that it will be airing on July 1st and there will be a marathon and it is official, but my PMs don't work so I can't share the link where they said it, but I know Butch Hartman, we fish together, so just believe me, okay!"
It really saddens me that someone who says they are a DP fan likes to spread rumors around. Some people will believe them, and will then feel really bad and upset when they find out it was false. That is really low of you forum trolls and I'd like to add that for every person you convince, there are 5 others who think you are ridiculous and DO NOT BELIEVE you.
And keep in mind...once people find out that it was YOU who was spreading the rumors....well, I've seen how some forums get...so I wish you luck in keeping your credibility intact.

On this day way back in 2004, Mystery Meat was premiering and ultimately creating you devoted Phans.
eLLe: So celebrate in style! Make sure you tune in to watch tonight's episode at 6:30pm/ 5:30 c, in honor of the night that started it all.
And remember guys, we'd like to have more Danny-versaries in the future...and the only way to try and make that happen is to make sure you do whatever you can to take part in saving this amazing show!! So write those letters, sign those petitons, watch every night to break into the ratings; do whatever you can to help!!

A Semi-Preview of Sorts
Kay here, making the news rounds tonight, because eLLe is currently hiding under her bed to avoid the stones a lot of you are tossing at her.
She apologizes to those of you flooding our inbox in anger saying that she "made me sit through those crazy KCAs because she said their'd be a preview when their wasn't." But in her defense- she said she advised it, not that you should do it.
But hey, didn't you see that commercial for 'Big Summer Movies'? That had Danny in it. Perhaps that's a hint to the air date for (supposed movie) School Spirit? Or maybe there's something more to come? We'll see.....
Still, until sourses deny it, assume Kindred Spirits will air this Friday. We'll keep you updated on any previews or people confirming it. Because its better to assume it will air when it doesn't, than to think it won't and miss it. And hopefully eLLe can treat her wounded soul and come back to us soon.

Announcements Ahoy!
eLLe: Because several TV sources are continuing to show it, we have decided to agree that Kindred Spirits will be airing on April 7th, at 9:00 pm. It is now added into the TV Guide.
I'd also like to advise you all to keep an eye open this week for any previews that may show up for it. Especially on tomorrow night's Kids Choice Awards, becuase usually, previews run rampant on KCAs night.
Also, three announcements:
1. After careful thought, we have decided to close our forum. Many thx and apologies to anyone who did register, but as this place thrives on participation, without it, we can't keep it. If interest peeks again, we may reopen it...
2. Recently, we've had some tip offs that the number on our Fight For Danny petition has been acting up lately. It goes up and down quite alot. It's dropped to as low as 200, but as high as 3000.
Kay and I talked about it, and since we've been thinking that maybe we should draw the line somewhere simple so we can mail it sooner, we've set the number now at 1200. With over 900 sigs, we are almost there, so it can be mailed quicker (be sure to check it out, and our full Save Danny page if you haven't yet!)
3. With over 100 votes each, we think its high time to create some new Visitor Poll questions. They can be viewed and answered under the Visitor Poll link under the Navigation bar. We will add results (once they pass 100 votes each) to the Fun Stuff page. And if you have an idea for a poll question, feel free to send it to us and we may use it in a future set.
